Corliss Barnes-Darnell is an accomplished and visionary entrepreneur. With a track record of successful businesses spanning more than 25 years, Corliss has always been a cutting edge trendsetter. As an integral part of Metro Detroit's business and philanthropic communities for more than a decade, Corliss is the recipient of numerous awards, accolades, commendations.

When a corporate move brought her family to Metro Detroit in the late 1990s, Corliss was once again bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. She became interested in personal care items and was introduced to emu oil. Intense research and personal use proved the rumors to be true: the softening and healing properties of emu oil were unsurpassed.

With this knowledge in hand, Corliss founded MSCEE Skin Care and began developing a line of skin care products based with emu oil. The company's first product, Oil of Kas-u-ari®, was 100% pure refined emu oil. From there, the MSCEE Skin Care line added a number of facial cleansers and moisturizers, body creams, lotions, pain relievers and shaving products. The company’s foot care line, Absolutely Fabulous Feet is used and recommended by podiatrists nationwide for the care of diabetic feet.

Corliss is winner of the 2006 National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) -Global Business Women of the Year. She has gain national recognition from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency.

Corliss’s most favorite product is the pure emu oil that she uses on her face twice a day.
